The ERGObrass soprano saxophone support, the ERGOsax, and the EWI support are very similar at first sight. However, they are different in the size of the attaching mechanism. In the case of the ERGOsax, the neck strap ring is usually a lot thinner than in the case of AKAIs, Roland AE:s or Yamaha YDS 150 neck strap hooks.

You can attach the ERGOewi to a soprano sax (not vice versa) but because of this difference, the instrument will slip from side to side in the penguin beak which is not a very comfy feeling.

That is the reason for having two systems that look alike.
